From Pledge to Practice is a project funded by the Maternal and Newborn Health Research and Advocacy Fund, and is implemented by Marie Stopes Society, a growing social business organization with global partners providing reproductive health care services to people in Pakistan. Applications are invited for a Karachi based position:

Project Manager (Male/Female)

Qualification: Masters in Public Health or Sociology or Social Sciences with 5 to 7 years experience in Project Management and some experience dealing with the government departments.

Position holder will be responsible for;
Ensuring timely implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project related activities.
Developing and submitting the project progress reports as per protocols. Facilitating linkages, organizing meetings, documentation and follow up.
Preparing and implementing work plans according to timelines, drafting and submitting project reports as per donor reporting protocols, with the support of finance department.
Drafting TORs of the National Advocacy Team: National Steering Committee, Provincial Focal Persons and Core Groups; Thematic subgroups; Media Consultant; all other consultants required by the project.
Drafting of project related memorandum of understanding and contracts.
Candidate should have strong leadership, management, public relations/people, marketing, communication and computer operating skills. Willingness to travel.
