A curriculum vita (CV) is the summary of your academic and work history. It is a brief detail of your education, skills, training and professional experience. It is, unlike the resume, usually longer and in detail. A resume and CV basically differ in length, content and purpose. CV is longer basically having two or more pages. It is a detailed synopsis. It is used when applying for any job. CV should be accompanied by cover letter. It should include your name, contact information, educations, skills and experiences.
